Summary

Lewis rats exhibit higher compulsive behaviors and resistance to anti-compulsive drugs compared to Sprague Dawley and Wistar rats in a validated animal model. This suggests Lewis rats may be a valuable model for studying obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
