Summary

Psoriatic scales contain significantly higher levels of neutrophil-activating peptide-1/interleukin 8 (NAP-1/IL-8) and growth-related oncogene/melanoma growth stimulatory activity (gro/MGSA). These compounds are key drivers of neutrophil accumulation in psoriasis pathogenesis.
