- The patient subsequently developed severe airway obstruction and lung parenchymal damage.

- Autopsy revealed numerous polyacrylamide particles within the patient's lungs.
- Extensive bronchiolar and alveolar damage was observed, consistent with severe lung injury.
Implications:
- This case highlights a novel cause of acute lung injury.
- Occupational exposure to polyacrylamide may pose significant respiratory risks.
- Further research into polyacrylamide toxicity is warranted.
