Summary

Dense-polytetrafluoroethylene (d-PTFE) membranes offer an alternative to expanded-polytetrafluoroethylene (e-PTFE) and collagen barriers for tissue regeneration. Unlike other membranes, d-PTFE does not require primary soft tissue coverage, simplifying surgical procedures.
