Diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DW-MRI) using the SPLICE sequence can help characterize lung carcinomas. Apparent diffusion coefficients (ADCs) were higher in well-differentiated adenocarcinoma, suggesting potential for tissue differentiation.
