Abstract:
The isolation of the coumarins xanthyletin, imperatorin, (+)-heraclenin and xanthoxyletin from the rootbark of A. Paniculata (Schum. et Thonn.) Engl. is reported. From the heartwood of the same plant the coumarins scoparon, xanthotoxin, imperatorin, (+)-heraclenin, 6-hydroxy-7-methoxy-coumarin and marmesin as well as the alkaloids dictamnine, haplopine and atanine have been isolated and identified.
