[Hynes-Andersen pyeloplasty by mini-laparoscopy transperitoneal approach]

Observation:

• The Surgery Department at "Sf. Ioan" Hospital initially used lomboscopy but transitioned to the transperitoneal approach.
• The transperitoneal approach was favored for its expansive workspace and distinct anatomical landmarks.
• Mini-laparoscopy tools were employed for two Hynes Andersen pyeloplasties in cases of pyelo-ureteral junction stenosis.

Findings:

• The transperitoneal approach facilitated a range of urologic procedures including cystectomy, varicocelectomy, adrenalectomy, nephrectomy, and pyelolithotomy.
• Two successful Hynes Andersen pyeloplasties were performed using the transperitoneal mini-laparoscopy technique.
• A concomitant pelvic lithotomy was also successfully performed in one pyeloplasty case.

Implications:

• The transperitoneal laparoscopic approach provides significant advantages in urologic surgery, enhancing visualization and procedural efficiency.
