Area of Science:

  • Cardiology
  • Electrophysiology
  • Medical Diagnostics

Background:

  • Acute cardiac care necessitates rapid diagnosis and treatment.
  • The electrocardiogram (ECG) is essential for managing ischemic heart disease and arrhythmias.
  • Differentiating ECG patterns is critical for appropriate patient management.

Observation:

  • A specific case presented complex ECG findings.
  • These changes were attributed to a combination of Brugada syndrome and myocardial ischemia.
  • Myocardial bridging was identified as a factor exacerbating the ischemic effects.

Findings:

  • The study details the intertwining of ECG manifestations from Brugada syndrome and ischemia.
  • Myocardial bridging significantly influenced the observed ECG alterations.
