Hematocrit change in tropical scuba divers

Scuba diving in warm waters causes a small, statistically significant increase in hematocrit (Ht), a marker for dehydration. Dive depth showed a weak correlation with this Ht increase, but changes are too small to alter current medical protocols for divers.
