Background:
The etiology of cervical heterotopic pregnancy is unknown, but most are associated with assisted reproductive techniques. Various types of conservative management to save the intrauterine pregnancy have been attempted.
Case:
A 35-year-old woman conceived after in vitro fertilization/embryo transfer for primary malefactor infertility. At 7(3/7) weeks of gestation, only the embryo was aspirated without fluid. Delivery of a healthy infant at 35 weeks was successful.
Conclusion:
Simple embryo aspiration under transvaginal ultrasonography guidance can be used in cervical heterotopic pregnancy.
