Purpose of the Study:

  • To characterize tuberculous Addison's disease using multidetector-row computed tomography (MDCT).
  • To evaluate the utility of MDCT in diagnosing and staging adrenal tuberculosis.

Main Methods:

  • Retrospective analysis of unenhanced and contrast-enhanced MDCT scans in 19 patients.
  • Assessment of adrenal gland features including size, contour, calcification, and enhancement patterns.
  • Correlation of disease duration with calcification incidence.
