To address the critical shortage of nursing faculty.
To implement an innovative solution to the nursing crisis.
To support the development of an accelerated doctoral program for nursing.

Main Methods:

Partnership between the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and UCSF School of Nursing.
Development of a 3-year accelerated PhD program for post-master's students.
Provision of a generous stipend for students.
Mandatory 3-year teaching commitment upon graduation.
