Idiopathic ventricular fibrillation (IVF), a cause of sudden cardiac death, can be treated by ablating the trigger premature ventricular contractions (PVCs). Radiofrequency catheter ablation offers an effective therapeutic option for IVF, improving secondary prevention of sudden cardiac death.
