Is there any relation between insulin resistance and cognitive function in the elderly?

This study investigated insulin resistance in elderly individuals with varying cognitive statuses, including normal cognition, mild cognitive impairment (MCI), Alzheimer's disease (AD), and vascular dementia (VaD). No significant differences in insulin resistance were found across these cognitive groups.
