Malignant intracerebral nerve sheath tumors are rare with no guidelines. Radiotherapy after surgery showed tumor regression, highlighting its radiosensitivity for localized disease.

Observation:

  • A 28-year-old female presented with a left parietal lobe tumor, classified as sarcoma NOS.
  • The tumor recurred rapidly after initial surgical excision.
  • The patient received 5,400 cGy radiotherapy in 22 fractions, guided by CT imaging.

Findings:

  • Two weeks post-radiotherapy, significant tumor regression was observed via MRI.
  • The patient developed pulmonary metastases, responding partially to chemotherapy.
