Introduction:
The development of the nervous central system is a dynamical process determined genetically and modulated by neurochemical, nutritional and environmental factors.
Development:
It refers to the neuroprotector effect of the pre and perinatal nutritional factors, specially proteic-energetic intake, long-chain polyinsatured fatty acid, vitamins, minerals, choline, maternal metabolic disorders and the maternal pseudo-nutritive agent intake.
Conclusion:
For a better neurodevelopment, it is necessary that pregnant receives, even before conception, a suitable intake of macro and micronutrients.
