A mesenteric desmoid tumor caused digestive issues in a 53-year-old man. Surgical removal of the jejunum tumor provided a histological diagnosis and treatment.

  • Abdominal CT revealed a 5 cm tumor at the duodeno-jejunal junction.
  • Barium study showed stenosis, and enteroscopy was unsuccessful due to the lesion.

Findings:

  • Surgical exploration identified a mesenteric tumor involving the upper jejunum.
  • The tumor was successfully resected with partial jejunal excision.
  • Histological examination confirmed the diagnosis of a mesenteric desmoid tumor.
