Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate surgical indications, techniques, and outcomes of repeated spinal cord untethering operations.
  • To analyze the effectiveness of multiple untethering procedures in patients with complex spinal cord tethering.
  • To identify factors influencing outcomes and complications in repeated untethering surgeries.

Main Methods:

  • Retrospective review of 30 repeated untethering operations in 22 patients with a history of at least two prior untethering procedures.
