Tixocortol pivalate: what is the right concentration?

Tixocortol pivalate (TP) at 1% and 0.1% concentrations showed no significant difference in patch testing for hydrocortisone allergy. For screening purposes, the 1% concentration of TP is recommended for standard patch testing series.

- Given practical limitations on the number of allergens in standard series, 1% TP is recommended for screening purposes.
