    Summary

    17alpha-acetoxy-3beta-butanoyloxy-6-methyl-pregna-4,6-dien-20-one (ABMP) shows high gestagen activity and prolonged action without toxicity. Its anticancer and chemiosensitizing properties warrant clinical investigation for hormone-sensitive tumors and hyperplastic processes.
