Antibacterial diterpenoids from Jatropha podagrica Hook

Two new macrocyclic diterpenoids, japodagrin and japodagrone, were isolated from Jatropha podagrica root. These compounds, along with four others, showed antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria.
