Characterization of a cyclosporine solid dispersion for inhalation

A new inulin-based solid dispersion of cyclosporine A (CsA) was developed for lung transplant patients. This respirable powder, created via spray freeze-drying, shows improved dissolution and dispersion characteristics for inhalation therapy.
