Abstract:
The introduction of stably integrated transgenes into cells is a central technique in any system for genetic analysis, in particular for complementation and for overexpression. This protocol makes use of relatively high electroporation energies that result in DNA breaks and which favour non-targeted integration of the construct into the genome.
