[The functional diagnosis of irreversible changes in the bronchi in chronic pneumonia in children]
Abstract:
The recording of biopotentials of smooth muscle fibers of the bronchial wall in chronic pneumonia patients enables one to evaluate the degree of their impairment and to differentiate between reversible and irreversible lesions. Assay of the electromyobronchograms makes bronchological information more precise, allowing prediction of the further course of the inflammatory focus in the lungs. Functional diagnosis of the affected parts of the respiratory system is helpful in choosing an optimal treatment schedule, promoting improvement of the long-term results of both conservative and surgical treatment of patients with chronic respiratory pathology.
