Summary

Endometriosis, a condition affecting women of childbearing age, can manifest in rare locations. This case highlights endometriosis presenting as a painful suburethral mass, causing voiding issues.

Background:

Endometriosis commonly affects pelvic organs in women of childbearing age.
Unusual extra-pelvic locations of endometriosis are infrequently reported.
Suburethral endometriosis is a rare presentation.

Observation:

A 32-year-old nulliparous woman presented with a painful suburethral mass.
Symptoms included obstructive voiding, dysmenorrhea, pelvic pain, UTIs, dysuria, and dyspareunia.
Imaging revealed a suburethral cystic lesion, mimicking urethral diverticulum or endometrioma.

Findings:

Surgical excision confirmed the suburethral lesion as an endometriotic cyst.
This represents a rare case of suburethral endometriosis.
