Summary

Adding heat-denatured blocking proteins to enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) significantly reduced non-specific binding of immunoglobulin G (IgG) in adult vaccinee sera. This modification can improve the accuracy of rubella antibody testing by minimizing false positives.
