Summary
Type A Behavior Pattern (TABP) estimates do not predict exercise responses in men. This study found no link between TABP assessments and perceived exertion during treadmill testing.

- However, prior studies used unstandardized protocols and less valid TABP assessments like the Jenkins Activity Survey (JAS).

- To investigate if standard self-report estimates of TABP predict ratings of perceived exertion (RPE) and oxygen consumption (VO2) during graded exercise testing.
