Preventing central nervous system (CNS) involvement in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) using combined chemo- and radiotherapy significantly reduced neuroleukemia incidence to 5.6%. Most children showed no major neuropsychic changes, though some developed CNS leukemia complications.
