  • Posts were cemented, and tensile stress was applied using an Instron universal testing machine until failure. Load at failure was recorded.
  • Main Results:

    • PeerlessPosts exhibited the highest mean load at failure (126.07 kg), significantly greater than the other groups.
    • Fiber White Posts (90.14 kg) and DT Light Posts (88.46 kg) showed no statistically significant difference in retention between them.
    • Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) confirmed a statistically significant difference among the three post systems.

    Conclusions:

    • The PeerlessPost system demonstrated significantly higher retention compared to Fiber White Posts and DT Light Posts.
    • The null hypothesis of no significant difference among post systems was rejected.
    • Clinical selection of post systems should consider their differential retentive capabilities.
