No association between the DRD3 Ser9Gly polymorphism and schizophrenia

This study found no association between the dopamine D3 receptor gene (DRD3) Ser9Gly polymorphism and schizophrenia. Genetic analysis of patients and controls, including family studies, did not support a predisposing role for this DRD3 variant in schizophrenia.
