Abstract:
In a recent study in Molecular Cell, Colmenares et al. (2007) showed that fission yeast Dicer is physically and functionally associated with RNA-dependent RNA polymerase complex (RDRC), revealing a concerted mechanism in transcriptional gene silencing.
