Purpose of the Study:

  • To develop and validate a reliable scoring tool for quantitative assessment of the pediatric cystometrogram.
  • To establish objective metrics for bladder capacity, compliance, activity, and sensation in pediatric patients.
  • To provide a tool for consistent evaluation of detrusor behavior.

Main Methods:

  • Developed scoring formulas for expected capacity (EV) and compliance (EV20) based on age.
  • Assigned ordinal scores (1-5) based on observed vs. expected findings.
