Immunological Technique for Protein Isolation
Abstract:
Carefully coagulated antibody or antigen-antibody complexes may be used as specific adsorbents for antigen, and the antigen may be released subsequently by increasing the acidity. No cross adsorption appears to take place. The procedure may prove useful for the isolation of tissue-specific proteins (including those in disease states), toxins, or viruses.
