A clinical technique for the formation of crown cores: the Core Mould
Australian Dental Journal
|December 1, 1991
Abstract:
The use of moulds to facilitate the placement and formation of cores on broken-down teeth prior to crown construction is described. The moulds are made of a transparent thermoplastic material and are designed in a number of configurations according to the tooth to be restored. They produce cores of a predetermined taper and an axially corrugated surface.
