Interferon-alpha influences tryptophan metabolism without inducing psychiatric side effects

Interferon-alpha (IFN-alpha) treatment altered tryptophan metabolism in oncology patients. However, this study did not find evidence linking these metabolic changes to psychiatric side effects like depression.
