Gender difference in neural response to psychological stress

Men and women exhibit distinct brain responses to psychological stress. Functional MRI revealed sex-specific patterns in cerebral blood flow (CBF) and limbic system activation, with high accuracy in differentiating these neurobiological stress pathways.
