Thyroid hormone regulates the expression of SNAP-25 during rat brain development

Thyroid hormones regulate brain development by controlling gene expression. This study found that thyroid hormone deficiency decreases synaptosomal-associated protein of 25 kDa (SNAP-25) in developing rat brains, potentially explaining developmental issues.
