Sequences conserved by selection across mouse and human malaria species

We identified conserved noncoding sequences in malaria genomes, suggesting novel regulatory functions and simpler transcriptional regulation in these parasites compared to other eukaryotes. This research advances malaria gene regulation knowledge.
