Summary

C1q nephropathy (C1qNP) is a rare kidney disease. This study details two sisters with early-onset C1qNP, highlighting its early childhood presentation and sibling occurrence.

  • Renal biopsies showed mesangioproliferative glomerulonephritis with diffuse "full-house" mesangial immunofluorescence.
  • C1q immunofluorescence was intense and co-dominant with IgG.
  • Electron microscopy confirmed dense mesangial deposits.
