  • Corneal scraping revealed Aspergillus sp. infection.
  • The patient was treated with systemic and topical antifungal agents.

Implications:

  • While AMT is generally safe, it carries a risk of microbial infections.
  • Close monitoring is crucial, especially in patients with poor ocular surface health after AMT.
