1Department of Undergraduate Nursing Science, California State University, Dominguez Hills, Carson.
Abstract:
The use of cartoons and humor in nursing education has had a positive effect on learning: Humor promotes group unity, relieves tension, and stimulates creative thinking. Cartoons have been used to help nursing students identify and examine stereotypes, an important part of their education, because they must provide care to many people of different ages and cultural backgrounds.
