Is strength training the more efficient training modality in chronic heart failure?

Intensive exercise training, including strength training (ST), improves cardiac function and exercise capacity in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). All training types showed benefits compared to no exercise.

- Strength training, endurance training, and combined training are all beneficial for improving outcomes in severe chronic heart failure.
