Abstract:
The author evokes the story of Brechet's sinus that is the sphenoidal sinus. Gilbert Brechet (1784-1845) was an eminent anatomist and professor in Paris. He took over from Jean Cruveilhier at the head of the anatomy laboratory of Paris University. This sinus is still important nowadays because of its role in some cranioclasts and in its ability of drainage and hormones circulation.
