Sonoclot analysis in elderly compared with younger patients undergoing coronary surgery

Repeated Sonoclot analysis showed reduced hemostatic function in elderly patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). However, it did not predict post-operative bleeding or identify specific clotting disturbances.
