Often, psychologists develop surveys as a means of gathering data. Surveys are lists of questions to be answered by research participants, and can be delivered as paper-and-pencil questionnaires, administered electronically, or conducted verbally. Summary

An online seminar for graduating nursing students discussing clinical problems was successfully delivered during clinical placements. This web-based model allowed timely discussion of practice issues, meeting all course objectives effectively.

Traditional nursing seminars often occur post-clinical experience.
Integrating theoretical discussion with real-time clinical issues presents a challenge.
The need for flexible and timely educational models in nursing is growing.

To evaluate an online seminar model for graduating Bachelor of Science in Nursing students.
To assess the effectiveness of delivering clinical problem discussions concurrently with clinical placements.
To compare the outcomes of a web-based seminar with traditional in-class formats.

Main Methods:

A web-based seminar was developed using the WebCT platform.
The seminar facilitated discussion of clinical problems encountered by students during their placements.
