Summary

Patients with severe obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) have a higher incidence of sinus dysfunction (SD) compared to simple snorers. Lowering of Nadir pulse oxygen saturation during sleep is a primary risk factor for developing SD in severe OSAS patients.
