Intractable wounds caused by calcific uremic arteriolopathy treated with bisphosphonates

Bisphosphonates may effectively treat calcific uremic arteriolopathy (calciphylaxis) and associated ulcers. This case study suggests bisphosphonates, alongside sevelamer hydrochloride, can heal intractable ulcers by managing calcium-phosphorus levels.
