Correlation between immune and neuronal parameters and stress perception in allergic asthmatics

Stress significantly worsens asthma by increasing pro-inflammatory T cells, particularly TNF-alpha. This study links perceived stress to higher TNF-alpha levels and BDNF in asthmatic patients, suggesting stress management as a complementary therapy.
