Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (RMSF) is a severe tick-borne illness caused by Rickettsia rickettsii, a Gram-negative, coccobacillary bacterium. Jellyfish stings can cause delayed vascular and inflammatory reactions months after initial contact. Early treatment includes vinegar and antibiotics, but rare late-stage symptoms require further investigation.
