Background:

Steatocystoma multiplex is a rare, benign skin condition characterized by multiple cysts.
This case presents a nonhereditary, classical form of the syndrome.

Observation:

A 22-year-old Philippine woman presented with classical steatocystoma multiplex.
Histological and ultrastructural examinations were performed.

Findings:

The case confirmed the diagnosis of steatocystoma multiplex.
CO2 laser therapy demonstrated positive therapeutic outcomes.

Implications:

This case contributes to understanding steatocystoma multiplex, particularly its nonhereditary variant.
CO2 laser therapy is presented as an effective treatment option for steatocystoma multiplex.
